The next time you are behind a Bentley…
(August 18th, 2009 under Announcements, Articles and Papers )…in the drive through line to get your Chick-fil-A and the Bentley is too big to fit around the turn and gets stuck, don’t honk; don’t get out and for goodness sakes don’t get into a fight with the driver and his two sons! “[A]bout 11 a.m. Saturday, a couple received their order from the drive-through window of the restaurant, 2301 E. Southlake Blvd., and were ready to drive away. But a Bentley was blocking the exit, so the husband honked twice, he said. The Bentley driver got out of his vehicle and began yelling, prompting the woman to leave her vehicle and yell back at him, Brown said. Two young men then got out of the Bentley, police said. One punched the woman in the mouth, and she slapped him; then the men knocked her to the ground and began hitting her repeatedly.
The woman told police that the Bentley driver said she couldn’t do anything about the assault because the young men were minors. The woman, whom police did not identify, was treated at the scene, police said.
The woman’s husband tried to go to her aid, but the Bentley driver told him that he had a gun and threatened to shoot him if he got out, according to the arrest warrant affidavit. Employees who came to the woman’s aid were also threatened by the Bentley driver, although witnesses told police that he never displayed a weapon.”
